Kolonbiotic Stopper is intended as a supplement to the intestinal microbiome during antibiotic therapy – helps build a healthy intestinal microbiome, as well as for use while traveling.

A food supplement containing 2 billion L. rhamnosus GG lactic acid bacteria and 5 billion S. boulardii yeast and fructooligosaccharides.

Saccharomyces cerevisiae var. boulardii CNCM I-3799 is a yeast strain that supports intestinal microflora. Lactobacillus rhamnosus GG is a safe strain that has been widely tested in both adults and children. Scientific studies show that the use of the LGG strain is justified during antibiotic therapy (Aliment Pharmacol Ther. 2015 Nov;42(10):1149-57). The bacteria in the preparation have been protected by microencapsulation, so that they retain their beneficial properties. Fructooligosaccharides, obtained by enzymatic hydrolysis of chicory inulin, are a source of energy for these bacteria.

The use of S. boulardii shortens the duration of acute diarrhea in children (2005 Jan;94(1):44-7) and adults (1990; 132: 188–192; 2003 Aug;9(8):1832-3) and reduces the likelihood of diarrhea caused by antibiotic therapy (2005 Dec;17(12):1357-61). According to statistical data, traveler’s diarrhea affects up to 50% of travelers in some regions and the use of the S. boulardii strain reduced the likelihood of its occurrence by up to 34% (2007 Mar;5(2):97-105. Epub 2005 Dec 5). The study showed that administration of 2*10^9 L. rhamnosus GG reduced the probability of traveler’s diarrhea by up to 49% (1990 Feb;22(1):53-6).

Saccharomyces boulardii (Lynside®), maltodextrins, fructooligosaccharides, microencapsulated live cultures of Lactobacillus rhamnosus GG (ATCC 53103) bacteria, anti-caking agent — fatty acids magnesium salts; shell ingredients (glazing agent — hydroxypropyl methylcellulose).

A product intended as a supplement to intestinal microflora during antibiotic therapy – helps build proper intestinal flora, and also for use when traveling.

Recommended daily dose: children over 3 years of age and adults — 1 capsule once a day, with plenty of liquid, preferably during a meal. The contents of the capsule can be added to the meal at room temperature.

Do not exceed the recommended daily dose. Food supplements should not be used as a substitute for a varied and balanced diet. A varied and balanced diet and a healthy lifestyle are recommended. Keep out of reach of children.
