Gold-Vit® senior is a composition of vitamins and minerals specifically indended for older people, including in the form of highly absorbable Albion® amino acid chelates, supplementing the daily diet with essential micronutrients. The formula has been further enhanced with lutein and plant sterols, as well as standardized extract of Korean ginseng, which is conducive to maintaining the vitality and physical fitness of the body*.
The ingredients of the Gold-Vit® senior preparation comprehensively support the functioning of the body, including:
- vitamin D and calcium – essential for maintaining the proper condition of the bones and teeth,
- vitamin A helps to maintain proper vision,
- zinc, selenium and vitamin C, support the proper functioning of the immune system,
- magnesium* is important for the proper functioning of the nervous system and muscles, including the cardiac muscle, and similarly to vitamin B6*, it promotes vitality through its participation in the reduction of tiredness and fatigue of the body,
- vitamin B6, B12 and folic acid* are important for the proper metabolism of homocysteine and participate in the reduction of tiredness and fatigue of the body,
- iron supports the proper production of red blood cells and haemoglobin,
- plant sterols help maintain normal cholesterol levels in the blood (a beneficial effect is obtained when consumption is equal to at least 0,8 g of plant sterols per day).
- ginseng* (Panax ginseng) participates in maintaining vitality, improves concentration, coordination and alertness of the body, supports activities of the immune system and is beneficial to sexual health.
Lutein is a natural carotenoid that can be found in the macula of the eye, which, thanks to its structure, enables so-called central vision and is responsible for visual acuity.
The preparation includes chelated minerals produced by the market leader in pharmaceutical raw materials – the American company Albion®. These minerals are completely safe to use, do not irritate the stomach and do not hinder the absorption of other minerals.
Minerals in the form of Albion® amino acids chelates are completely hypoallergenic (US Patent No. 7,838,042), which is extremely important with regards to the safety of receiving the treatment.

Purpose
Purpose: dietary supplement intended for adults, in particular in middle age and older, as a supplement of vitamins and minerals to the daily diet, and for those striving to maintain proper vitality of the body.
Dosage
Recommended daily intake: 1 tablet after the main meal with plenty of water.
Do not exceed the recommended dose per day.
Dietary supplements cannot be used as a substitute for a balanced diet.

Chelate, as a neutral complex, does not disturb the cells mineral and ionic balance. After absorption, in the hydrolysis process, the chelate is broken down into glycine (an amino acid involved, among others, in protein synthesis, the metabolic cycle of nucleic acids or neurotransmission) and elemental magnesium.
ALBION chelates
Albions amino acid chelates are a real revolution in the area of the digestibility of minerals such as iron, magnesium and calcium.
In order for these compounds to be assimilated in their original forms and to perform their intended function, the mineral ion formed as a result of the dissociation process of the mineral compound at the acidic pH of gastric juice must be bound by organic components. This process occurs naturally in our body and is called chelation.
Chelation causes the minerals to be:
- perfectly assimilated
- inert and chemically stable
- resistant to the acidic pH of the stomach
- easy on the digestive tract
- absorbed in the intestinal lumen (jejunum and ileum)
Albions amino acid chelates are created in a unique process, which results in formed compounds that easily pass through the intestinal wall, which avoids disrupting natural chelation, and consequently ensures exceptional bioavailability and provides the body with an appropriate dose of the mineral compound.
The antioxidant power of PureWay-C and its ability to neutralize free radicals are other characteristics that distinguish vitamin C fat metabolites from other forms of vitamin C. Both of these abilities have been tested in the laboratory by analyzing the degree of DPPH reduction, which confirmed the effectiveness of vitamin C fatty metabolites in the fight against free radicals and antioxidants.
