Medicines Product description
Panaprex® contains paracetamol, which belongs to the group of painkillers and antipyretics. The product is indicated for the treatment of fever (cold, flu) and for the symptomatic treatment of mild to moderate pain of various origins. Panaprex® has an analgesic effect in the treatment of pain such as: headaches, migraine, bone and joint pain, muscle pain, back pain, toothache, postoperative pain, dysmenorrhea, sore throat.

Ingredients
- Paracetamol 500 mg

Ingredients: The active substance is paracetamol. Each tablet contains 500 mg of paracetamol (Paracetamolum). Other ingredients (excipients): tablet core: microcrystalline cellulose, povidone K90, purified water 8, colloidal anhydrous silica, croscarmellose sodium, sodium stearyl fumarate. Opadry 200 White coating: polyvinyl alcohol, titanium dioxide (E 171), talc, macrogol 3350, methacrylic acid and ethyl acrylate copolymer (1:1), sodium carbonate.
Purpose
The treatment of mild to moderate pain, including: headaches, migraine, bone and joint pain, muscle pain, back pain, toothache, postoperative pain, dysmenorrhea, sore throat. Treatment of fever includes: in the course of colds and flu.
Dosage
Adults, the elderly and adolescents over 12 years of age (weighing over 50 kg): orally, 1 to 2 tablets. If necessary, the dose may be repeated no more often than every 4 hours, up to 4 times a day. The maximum daily dose of paracetamol is 4 g (8 tablets).
Adults and adolescents over 12 years of age (weighing 40-50 kg): orally, 1 tablet. If necessary, the dose may be repeated no more than every 4 hours, up to 6 times a day. The maximum daily dose of paracetamol is 3 g (6 tablets).
Use the lowest effective dose for the shortest possible time.
Do not exceed the recommended maximum daily dose.
Kids: Panaprex® should not be used in children under 12 years of age due to the high dose of the product and its pharmaceutical form.
Contraindications: hypersensitivity to the active substance or to any of the excipients, severe renal failure, severe liver failure, alcoholism.
