Product description

Arginilan – food for special medical purposes. This product contains sweeteners.

For dietary use on patients during radiotherapy, after surgery, with difficult-to-heal wounds and bedsores, and after strokes, in the chronic stage.

Arginilan is a product containing a high proportion of L-arginine, a highly digestible collagen hydrolysate, zinc (in the form of Albion® amino acid chelate), and vitamins A and C.


The L-arginine contained in the preparation is an amino acid, which is essential in certain clinical situations. It is a nutrient from which active biological compounds, e.g. nitric oxide, are formed. This, in turn, takes part in bactericidal processes, which have a positive impact on the process of wound healing.


Collagen is a building block for connective tissues, such as skin and cartilage tissues. The use of 5 g of collagen per day maintains the elasticity of the skin (1), which is important for the treatment of bedsore wounds.

Vitamins A and C and zinc help heal wounds and prevent bedsores.

Zinc also plays a role in regeneration processes (2).

Ingredients: Collagen hydrolysate, L-arginine hydrochloride, acidity regulator – citric acid; zinc diglycinate – zinc; flavourings, sweeteners – acesulfame K, sucralose; L-ascorbic acid – vitamin C, retinyl acetate – vitamin A.


The product is intended for dietary management on bedsores and difficult-to-heal wounds, for radiotherapy, for patients in postoperative periods, and during convalescence, as well as with chronic-stroke-stage conditions.


Dosage: It is recommended to take 1 sachet once a day after a meal, unless the doctor recommends otherwise. Do not exceed the recommended daily dose.
Method of preparation – to make a product ready for consumption, slowly add the contents of 1 sachet into a dish containing 240 ml of boiled water at room temperature, stirring constantly until the powder dissolves completely. Take immediately after preparation.

Important information: The preparation is intended for use under medical supervision. The preparation is a nutritionally incomplete foodstuff, and should not be used as the sole source of nourishment.

Precautions and contraindications: The product is not recommended for children, pregnant or breastfeeding women, or in the case of hypersensitivity to any of the ingredients. Tell your doctor if you have an medical condition (e.g. hypertension) or if you are taking medication. Do not consume alcohol during use. This product is not intended for parenteral use. Do not take other products containing zinc.

Chelate, as a neutral complex, does not disturb the cells mineral and ionic balance. After absorption, in the hydrolysis process, the chelate is broken down into glycine (an amino acid involved, among others, in protein synthesis, the metabolic cycle of nucleic acids or neurotransmission) and elemental magnesium.
